frida outfit challenge

Today I'm linking with
Vivienne from Thrifted Shift which is
Style Imitating Art.
I'm trying to look solemn,
because that's how Frida looked in the portrait.

Here's the art as inspiration.

Frida Kahlo, self portrait titled, "Time Flies."

To see my ode to Frida blog post from 2011, look here.

To see how the other lovely ladies interpreted Frida's style look here.

  5. Never heard of Frida Kahlo before, but I guess you can consider yourself an artist if you're mostly remembered for your self-portraits plus your other works.

  9. Ted art always inspires me to do .. and post pictures ... but the look solemn Frida I could not have .. like the Mona Lisa, it seems easy to imitate pictures .. but they are not ... =)
    I loved everything!
