live beside the ocean

Are you ever been in the car, and all of the sudden a song comes on, that you haven't heard in ages?
It's almost like you're hearing it for the first time, over again?
A song that you didn't know you had forgotten how much you liked. That happened to me, about a month ago.

L.A.M.B. Spring RTW 2012

I am still living with your ghost
Lonely and dreaming of the west coast
L.A.M.B. Spring RTW 2012

I don't want to be your downtime

I don't want to be your stupid game

L.A.M.B. Spring RTW 2012

With my big black boots and an old suitcase

I do believe I'll find myself a new place

Carven Spring RTW 2012

I don't want to be the bad guy
I don't want do your sleepwalk dance anymore
Carven Spring RTW 2012

I just want to see some palm trees

I will try and shake away this disease

Me on the beach

We can live beside the ocean

Leave the fire behind

My guy stretching on the beach.

Swim out past the breakers

Watch the world die

My nephew Speed Racer is hugging his dad,
 my brother

I

am still dreaming of you face
Hungry and hollow for all the things you took away

My twin nieces

I don't want to be your good time

I don't want to be your fall-back crutch anymore

My nephew Baby JJ

I'll walk right out into a brand new day

Insane and rising in my own weird way

My art journal pages

I think I may have drawn these faces
with my left hand.

It says: Sometimes she didn't feel like being nice. Sometimes she felt snarky.
Sometimes she just wanted some peace.
Sometimes she wanted to be left alone.
Road trip essentials: fully charged iPods,
camera, full tank of gas

I don't want to be the bad guy

I don't want to do your sleepwalk dance anymore

I just want to feel some sunshine
I just want to find some place to be alone

We can live beside the ocean
Leave the fire behind

Swim out past the breakers

Watch the world die

Yeah watch the world die

  5. Teddi loved seeing you on the beach. Great tent! OK lamb has the best items but their prices suck. I can take the inspiration from the pics and hit the thrift. Oh the vibrant colors! Have a great weekend beach babe! Dawn suitcase vignettes xo

  8. Have you ever been reading song lyrics, and trying to figure out if it's one you know? And then all of a sudden you come to one line, and you can suddenly hear it in your head? ;)

  9. They play old songs on the radio anymore besides the actual oldie stations. Even request hour has little variety. "Here's the song some unemployed basement dweller asked for which hasn't played on this station for a very long 45 minutes".

I eventually had to cut my radio off for good. Changing stations can make it a little better but my MP3 player is better. I actually found my old mp3 player, and it was quite fun listening to my old collection.

  11. I can see you're into bold patterns right now ;) and to be honest I'm pretty much in love with all kinds of stripes, so great inspiration for me! oh and I remember you asked about my golden glitter nail polish.. I haven't used it much but I've tried it though. I think I should mix it with some other colour and then do my pedicure :P

  17. That cherry red Carven dress is making me positively ooze with envy. It's seriously gorgeous. Quirky, sexy, and polished all at once. You always pick out the best runway looks!

May the force be with you.

  21. That happens to me all the time i'll be at a party and then a song will come on and i'll just start singing the song not knowing where or when i heard it before its a great feeling very mysterious unless of course memories flood into your head when thinking or this song. And like i have said many times before your journal is amazing.
