Or maybe it's all just April related.
Here's what I wish I wore on Easter: |
Victorian Style Lace Top & Purple Camisole |
Anna Sui Floral Top |
Corduroy Skirt with Handmade Boombox Patch |
Boho Dress |
Purple Studded Shoes |
Unfortunately I've been fighting a horrible cough
& cold for over a week, so on Easter Day,
this girl, (meaning me), was looking rough.
Here's what I wore in April last year.
April 2011 |
I made my headband. My cousin made my necklace, & earrings. |
April 2011
My friend made my bracelet.
Me with my guy in Easter 2010, at friend's house. |
My mom made the jacket I'm wearing. |
This April my twin nieces, playing in their grandparents backyard. |
Notice my favorite flowers, daffodils. |
This April, my nephew with the Easter Bunny. |
Can you tell he's at the grocery store? |
My nephew & my brother, on an Easter Egg Hunt, this year. |
Notice the football Easter basket. |
My art journal pages |
It says: I don't have a secret happy place. For I love my whole house. |
Those look like Aunt Teddi's favorite chips, Cheetos. |
I wonder what's in that yellow Easter egg. |
I think my nephew might be dancing. |
Georgia Bottoms by Mark Childress ...She would never forget how sunlight streamed through the wavery glass of her bedroom window. Sparkles of dust danced like tiny diamonds in a column of light. It was a moment of uncanny beauty, little jewels floating and sparkling, here in the middle of the room on this day... |
That cord skirt is pretty awesome. Feel better soon! Try a gallon of chamomile tea with honey!

Let's just be best friends already. I love daffodils too - they are such a vibrant flower. If I could keep buckets of them throughout my house, I would, but then again I feel bad picking wild flowers. They are most beautiful when sitting in the forest. I just wish I could always look into the beauty of a daffodil. It's a shame they only come around here once a year.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of your nephew and your sweet man looking at you made a better day for me. So much love in these photographs....
May the flowers bloom for you and your beautiful life!
sending you happy spells

ReplyDeleteoh no.. so bad you've got a cold.. I've got one too.. seems I went overboard during my springbreak 'cause I dehydrated, came back with a cold and cough and ughhh... not even a cool beach babe tan? come on! I'm still so pale.. anyway... hope you get well soon and wear one of those purple items later on this spring.. xoxo
ReplyDeleteNever seen a Easter Bunny at the grocery store before. I saw Santa once, but not the Easter Bunny. I did see the one at the mall, and I never really saw any kids go to him. Everytime we passed by, he'd just be sitting in his chair with fans on high. That suit must be murder.
ReplyDeleteoh no
ReplyDeletehope you'll feel better :)
