I found a runway outfit I was inspired by,
 and wore my version of the look,

I also wore this  Hendrix shirt here,
 and the garden green pants here.

When I was in high school, I wanted to live in a story book house covered in 
garden green vines.

My outfit was influenced by yesterday's 

inspiration monday! That's when the ladies Megan and Nora of
Two Birds Boutique chose an outfit to inspire an outfit.

I look frozen, and I don't mean cold. 
I mean like Han Solo on the planet Mercury.

 New Morning by Alpha Rev (a band from Austin, Texas).

My nephew Speed Racer likes to sing
Down By the Station.
He LOVES trains!

We don't know what songs my nephew JJ likes.
They tell us he says words,
 but he won't say a thing, for me and my guy.  :p

My twin nieces Lil Bug and EJ like to sing: 
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

The last song my guy worked out to was Wave of Tomorrow by The Crash Kings.
I don't have a photo of him doing that, but last weekend he was building us a new fence for our backyard. 
We saw The Crash Kings in concert on this post in 2009.

My nephew Speed Racer found his Mickey Mouse ears.They were from his grandma.
Would believe that I've never been to Disneyland or Disney World? True story.

My nieces EJ, Lil Bug, and nephew JJ.
When they were at the zoo, a stranger was trying to get her child to smile and kept saying cheese.
JJ thought she was talking to him and he did it, well not in the above photo.
 That one was taken months ago.

I wonder when I'll get a new hat.
The last time I bought a hat was over 7 years ago.
I hope I find one this Summer.

Well we are now in August,
and I still haven't bought a new hat. Waa, waa.

My outfit was based on This Style Imitating Art Challenge

I followed the color palette of the art
 using pink, with hints of red, and gold.

I incorporated gold accessories.

I wore the pink ruffled skirt to resemble the loops on the pink bow in the artwork.
My shoes have red bows too.

It's been so hot, 
I wore shorts and sandals every day this week.
It's 7:57 pm right now,
and it's 87 degrees F
(which equals about 30.6 degrees C).
