it's a hat thing

My outfit was influenced by last week's inspiration monday! 

That's when the ladies Megan and Nora of Two Birds Boutique
chose an outfit to inspire an outfit.

My hat: borrowed from my guy Kohl's (2010)
My t-shirt: My Chemical Romance concert (2007)
It's so sad the band broke up this year.  :(


My striped jeans: Target (last Fall)
My black shoes: thrifted
Yes, I wore this last week,
 and didn't finish my blog post.
Time slipped away from me. Blah, blah, blah...

The last time I bought a hat was over 7 years ago.
I hope I find one this Summer.


Well we are now in August,
and I still haven't bought a new hat. Waa, waa.

    You and Anne look great! I think she was fabulous in Les Mis, but I didn't like much else about the movie. Devil Wears Prada was good, but it stressed me out!

    I love hats.. I've got tons of them.. 'cause I've been obsessed with hats and beanies and turbans or anything you can wear on the head since childhood..I just switch from one style to another..right now I'm digging turbans.. but I'm sensing that once the winter starts, I'll be in the mood for fur hats too..
    I love Ella Enchanted too! haha I though I was the only grown up that actually enjoyed the silly movie... can you keep a secret.. (I bought the dvd) ha ha take care!

    I loved Alice in Wonderland. such an amazing film :) and I think you once again nailed the look. you look so fierce with that hat and striped pants. really really cool and stylish!

    Wow, you're so rocker chic! I sense a bit of MJ too! I wish I could pull of a hat as well as you do! I've never bought a hat!!

    My favourite Anne Hathaway movie is The Princess Diaries! Love Ella Enchanted too!

    Teddi, I just love how you've interpreted this Monday's inspiration photo. Bonus points for raiding your guy's closet in putting the outfit together. And wearing an authentic concert tee. I've been looking for a fedora hat all summer, but my head's so small I need a kid's size, none of this 'one size fits all' business.

    OK, this look is totally, totally awesome. I love everything about it (your version) and you look great in it! I was sad when I heard about My Chemical Romance. Another band I've always heard is great live, but never actually got to see live.

    Also, Ella Enchanted - totally underrated. ;)
