little acorns

..."She told me that late one day when she was at her lowest
Acorn Necklace
she watched a squirrel storing up nuts for the winter,
Acorn Headband
one at a time he would take them to the nest.
Pink Squirrel Acorn Belt
And she thought, if that squirrel can take care of himself with the harsh winter coming along, then so can I.

Once I ripped my problems into small pieces
I was able to carry them,

just like those acorns, one at a time.

Here's some real acorns that I saw on the ground.

"Take all your problems
And rip 'em apart...

Carry them off
In a shopping cart...
And another thing you
Should've known from the start
The problems in hand
Are lighter than at heart

Be like the squirrel, girl
Be like the squirrel
Give it a whirl, girl
Be like the squirrel

And another thing
You have to know in this world
Cut up your hair

Well you problems
Hide in your curls"

song: Little Acorns
artist: White Stripes

Do you believe in the lyrics of that song?
Or are you cynic, like me?

They are such uncommon animals to have on clothes so I would need to hunt that down. ;)

  8. I used to have a tree that produced many acorns. It later died and we had to cut it down.

  13. I love acorns, they are the cutest thing, and esp. if you've watched tinkerbell, the little ones use them as pots and hats, so cute. I think I may go out and look for some acorn jewelries now ;)
