these are the books i recently read.

i finally finished the third in the twilight series eclipse. i was so reluctant to read them since i didn't like the first book. it made me gag,

but since the introduction of jacob. i am sooo a fan! i'm probably gonna get hate mail for this, but i like the werewolf.

there i said it. of course i haven't read the fourth book yet, so i have the option of changing my mind.

i was a teenage fairy
by francesca lia block is what i'm currently reading. she is one of my favorite authors and i'll leave with some excerpts from this beauty had once been-orchards of fruit trees instead of freeways, skies so clear you could
the stars singing, flowers growing over every house, deer and coyotes racing through the backyards, the oceans visible from every hilltop, swirling with mermaids and sea dragons of foam...

...Even though she is past the age of imaginary friends, the friend she might sometimes think is imaginary is still with her. The friend has not aged at all; maybe their life spans are different, maybe she is just so small that no one would notice her aging, maybe she is just too vain to allow for wrinkles. She is walking along the girl's arm, balancing a box of cigarettes on her head...

....They were painted with a night sky, dark violet blue and starred, the she read skies were supposed to look...

...If his eyes didn't twinkle so much, like he was laughing at himself, he'd never get away with it. But she said, "I don't think you need that to feel good about yourself. Everyone I know is in love with you."
He frowned and shook his head. "They love an image...."

...She'd forgotten what he was talking about. Oh-everyone being in love with an image of you...

....If Los Angeles is a woman reclining billboard model and the San Fernando Valley is her teenybopper sister, then New York is their cousin. Her hair is dyed autumn red or aubergine or Egyptian henna, depending on her mood...
