movie luv

I finally saw the movie. Yes i liked it. Here are some quotes:

Pash: [On going to Austin, TX alone] But you don't have the balls.
Bliss Cavendar: I can grow the balls...

Oliver: Wow, from here it kinda looks like you're wearing a stryper t-shirt.
Bliss Cavendar: stryper? Yeah, 80's christian heavy metal. I mean in the name of jesus we rock.

Earl Cavender: I like smart girls. That's why I married your mama. Well, that and I knocked her up.

Brooke Cavendar: I'm supposed to buy you shoes from a... a head shop? Does that really strike you as responsible parenting?
Bliss Cavendar: Fine, the shoes are a gateway drug.

Ronny: You can't do that!
Pash: She just di-iid!

I also liked when Bliss told the guy "I'm not gonna be that girl...I would have called." Or when she wrote that her mom being proud of her was worth more than some crown.

My favorite thing was when the Jimmy Fallon character held up the sign that said "Call Me" on one side and "STD Free" on the other. Anyone that knows me knows I love to roller skate. My babysitter, the one who taught me how to tie my shoes also took me to my first roller skating rink. I was about age 6 or 7. The last photo is what my first pair of roller skates looked like, except mine had red wheels and red laces. I would roll up and down the sidewalk or in the driveway. Yeah I fell down a lot, but what else is knew?

  2. whip it was soooo awesome! i want to join a roller derby team so bad! but, i'm super short, and kind of a wimp.

my boyfriend says i should anyway so that i can learn to toughen up. eh, i'd rather find some other way to toughen up than get shoved around.

i am thinking of having a skate party in place of going to my graduation ceremony though.
