Here's my version of the look. To see how others were inspired, go to: inspiration monday: is it bad? |
Today's inspiration is: |
Rebecca Minkoff |
My white t-shirt is from Target (over 5 years old). |
I didn't have printed pants like the inspiration. I thought my skirt pattern had a similar print. My skirt was thrifted. |
My ankle boots were thrifted. |
Alexis Mabille Spring RTW 2013 |
Left: Cacharel Spring RTW 2013 Right: Alice + Olivia Spring RTW 2013 |
My twin niece Lil Bug |
My nephew Baby JJ |
My twin niece EJ |
My nephew Speed Racer |
My art journal page from June 5, 2013 |
The last time I saw the ocean was in August of 2012, while in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I wonder when I'll see the beach again, and where that will be? |
Really cool pics ;)

CUTE BOOTS!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern on your skirt. I'm really loving blue at the moment, I've never really been into blue until now!
i love the pattern of your skirt! so summery and fun! and, you inspired me to do a post of my backyard, so thanks!! (i figured i should take pics while it still looks clean!)
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if that kiddie ride is either a dolphin or a whale. I guess they can't really complain. I went on tons as a kid with rust all over it, and some boat rides with water that looked like toxic waste.
ReplyDeleteI really love you did the lettering for the word Ocean. Also I love that you have enough clothes to do the inspiration Monday posts and I think this one is pretty bang on! I'm impressed. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteyou really nailed the elements of Rebecca's outfit. even though you're wearing a skirt it's still almost exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteyour nieces and nephews are super cute :)
That little skirt is so cute
ReplyDeleteI gotta style a plain white t more often!
Cute look
Brett
love your page :) You have the most adorable nieces and nephews too!
ReplyDeletegosh how amazing those blue inspirations are! light blue is such a gorgeous shade. and Teddi, once again you've done a great job with this inspirational look because your skirt indeed looks exactly like those pants from the original photo.
ReplyDeleteoh and I hope you'll see the ocean already soon :)
Maiken,
Maikeni blogi - part of me
I love all the blues in this post, and those are great ankle boots!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, I loved your interpretation! Your boots are amazing! And the fashion pictures you selected are great - one of them really inspired me to find something similar! Your nieces and nephews always soooo sweet! And your art journal also always so inspiring. Where and when will I see the sea again... it made me think... you know I have a beach house and I seldom go there - and I love the sea... it's a shame. I want to go there now! Thanks for those words... made me think!
ReplyDeleteTed!! Great inspiration...i love the white t-shirt with print pants/skirt!! *_*
