one saturday

This is what I wore.

My  friend's son had a birthday party.
Her mom made this incredible looking cake!
Fun fact: her mom, & my mom have the exact same name. They also spell it the same way.
Check out Miss D's nails on the right.
Funny thing is my nails were painted alternative colors too, except mine were shades of green while hers were blue & red.
My plaid shorts/pants are thrifted.
This lady bug took turns crawling on us.
This girl made her bracelet.

If  I like something someone else is wearing or has, I ask if I can snap their photo.
I am digging these earrings.

My friend's necklace.
I think it's elegant.

This is NOT my tattoo.
It is after my own heart. :)
It's for her grandma who played the guitar. The dove is after the song
On the Wings of A Dove.
What I didn't tell her when I took her photo,
is that I play the guitar,
& I have a dove tattooed,
on my right back shoulder.

To all you amazing moms out there.
Happy Mother's Day!

One of my favorite moms with my niece.

One of my favorite moms with my nephew.

For everything you do everyday,
we love you, appreciate you,
 & think you're fantastic! :)

winnie the pooh

These colors & patterns remind me of
Winnie the Pooh & Tigger too.

Aquilano E Rimondi Fall 2011 RTW

When I was little,
 my aunt sewed a homemade
Winnie the Pooh for me.
I got it for Christmas.

It was the color of these shoes.

I took that Winnie the Pooh with me
all over my childhood house.

Aquilano E Rimondi Fall 2011 RTW

For a time, it was my favorite stuffed animal.

The stuffing started to come out
 of my bear.

The arms were falling off,

& the head was hanging by a thread.

I remember being sad,
for I liked to think my toys were real.

My aunt ended up making me
a total of 3 Pooh Bears.

I loved them all so much, they fell apart.

My nephew riding his toy Tigger.

For a long time I kept them on a shelf.

Can you see my brother's feet,
& his face?
He's behind my nephew.

I wanted to keep them for always.

Who is that bratty child?

One day I must have thrown them away.

My mom made my dress,
& she made my cake too.

For I don't have those homemade Pooh Bears anymore. I don't know what happened to them.

This is Chandra's tattoo.
No, I don't know her,
but I like her tattoo.

I imagine I thought in order to be a grown up,
I had to let go of my childhood.

I like this tattoo.
I don't know why I found it here.

I don't know what I was thinking.
I wish I still had them.

Who is your favorite Winnie the Pooh character?

subway style snippets

Color blocking coming at ya.

Nice red bag with
gold zipper details.

Unremarkable you may think,
but this was the back of the sweater.

Something about these shoes,
 says dancer to me.

I dig the weave.

Stylishly sweet.

Are these worker boot heels?
 I didn't ask.

Cute flats on the left.

My friend's pretty bracelet.
 She hardly ever wears jewelry.

Nice purple kicks worn by the girlfriend,
while facing her boyfriend.

This California girl,
 who majored in art,
told me that her nails feel naked
without polish.
She changes the color,
 every 4 days or so.

I like this handbag.
I asked if I could take a photo of his tattoo.
This is the tattooed guy's
work shoes & hat.
This photo was about
 her snakeskin purse.

what's up cupcake?

I wanted to try this gourmet cupcake shop.

Blueberry cupcake with shortbread topping and strawberry cupcake with cream cheese icing.

Little T licked off the icing, then
threw his cupcake on the back seat.

He wanted to wear my bracelets
 so I let him.

My friend laughed at her son, and said he always does that.

There I am looking like
some kind of geek freak.

Wouldn't these yellow cupcakes be cute hair clips?

These cupcakes look just like
 my acoustic guitar.

I admire anyone who has the patience
to decorate their nails like this.

and this guitar pick necklace.

I'm not sure I'd wear this,
but what creative duct tape purse!

Here's a cutie cupcake hair clip.

I would so wear these.

I would wear these earrings in my 2nd hole, that's higher on my earlobe .

These are completely
unfunctional & expensive purses,

source

but they are, most certainly,
pretty to look at.

When I look at these earrings,
I sigh.

These cupcakes look like my electric guitar.

This necklace looks good enough to eat.

I would wear this bracelet stacked
on my arm, with other thin bracelets.

What's your favorite cupcake flavor?
