like a male peacock

I know today is Friday, but I'm linking
Thursdays are Thrifters anyway.
Both of my blouses are thrifted.

You cannot go against nature
Because when you do
Go against nature

It's part of nature too
Our little lives get complicated
It's a simple thing
Simple as a flower
And that's a complicated thing

No new tale to tell
No new tale to tell
No new tale to tell
My world is your world
People like to hear their names
I'm no exception

Please call my name
Call my name
No new tale to tell
No new tale to tell
No new tale to tell
When you're down
It's a long way up

When you're up
It's a long way down
It's all the same thing

My skirt is thrifted.

No new tale to tell"- by Love And Rockets
These are the same peacock earrings,
I showed you last here, that my friend to gave me.
This is where the title of the post comes from.
Aren't male peacocks the ones that have the pretty feathers,
in order to attract the females?

My guy is so cute when he sings this song.
It makes me laugh every time.

  1. I hate it how only the boy peacocks get to be pretty. I love your earrings and your skirt is cool too.

  4. Yep Peacocks are really a species called Peafowl. The guys are Peacocks, and the girls are Peahen. I've seen some Peahen in person, they're almost like ugly gray chickens.

  25. I am so in love with your earrings. Maybe the male peacocks use them to be more attractive, but it's totally okay for female human beings to use them as well.
