behind these civilized eyes

the original outfit
with Eva Longoria
Here's the Two Birds outfit Inspiration from Monday.
Compare & contrast.

my version

I am fully aware of how ridiculous these photos look.

Particularly because I'm in a different mood
today than I was when these photos were taken.

Today I was wearing bright pink. Then I found out someone in my family died, & no one knows why.

Then I got some news about something else that I didn't really want to hear, & that again,
I have no control of.

Patterned tights, & boot details

Sometimes your day starts sunny, then the sky becomes overcast. The clouds overtake you, & it starts pouring rain.

Sometimes a girl wants to hear her 4th favorite band of all time, play a song from their latest album on repeat.

We saw Chevelle in concert in 2009.
If you want to see photos check out my post here.

  1. Sorry to hear about the death in your family. :/ You're right though, that's stuff none of us really have control over.

I like that Chevelle song, by the way! What was their concert like?

  3. Sorry for your loss Teddi.

And to answer your question from the other day: No I haven't seen the new Bill Maher show. I don't get HBO, so I'm limited to clips on youtube or HBO's website.

  4. Sorry to hear about the bad news. Hope things are better now.

On a lighter note, I like your interpretation too. You have got your own style, I like your casual chic version too. That pattern tights are so chic. You look so cute in those poses!
