Lace dress: F 21 (over 3 years ago)
Cream tank top: Sewn by mom. It used to be hers.

TODAY:
I played Factory Girl by The Pretty Reckless on my guitar.
 I scrapbooked with a friend.
I went to the library.
I watched The Client List on TV.
I got photos of my nephew.
I ate spaghetti.
I talked to my mom.

far back

When I was younger,
 fall meant new school clothes,
and a brand new school year.

Far back, when I worked at the elementary school,
we had red ribbon week in the fall.

We had crazy hair day, pajama day, school colors day, and inside out/backwards day.



Far back, when I taught preschool, fall meant teaching apple themes, leaves as crafts and science studies, exploring pumpkins, Thanksgiving, and Halloween stories, and songs.

My blouse, skirt, and shoes are thrifted.

We'd take field trips to the pumpkin patch, and paint pumpkins. We'd wash and bake pumpkin seeds.

Missing these...

I love blueberries! Since I'm allergic to eggs now, I miss them in blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, lemon squares with blueberries, blueberry cheesecake ice cream.
However, I can still eat them with whipped cream.  :)

Tues. Aug 14:
I'm far too sensitive.
Sometimes I wish...
I've got a bulletproof heart.
I cry at the drop of a hat.
Right now, 
so hot it feels like it's melting into a puddle.

 Wed. Aug 15:   I snarl.

I haven't picked up my guitar in 11 days.
Today it feels like it's screaming at me from neglect.
Maybe I'll let it cry with/through my fingers.
