Why am I showing a fall collection from 2010 when it's winter of 2011?

Why do I show collections at all?

I like to see how they put outfits together. Don't you?

 I like to see how I would wear something similar or differently.

I like to determine whether pieces are for presentation purposes or functionality.

 

The Heart Is Not A Size

...I drew my camera to my eye and snapped a photograph. I went around the circle taking photos-portraits for later. So that whatever happened here would be real, wouldn't be erased by time. Could go home with me, to my family...

...Sometimes color is all there is; and as the sun now fell fast. I photographed it's dying pink until the moon was higher than the sun an it was shadows. I saw thorough my camera's eye-blues leaning into blacks and blacks spattered through with violet...

...What makes it so that they don't up and quit? " Sophie asked.

World of Jenks: I love this show, I really do.

Someone told me how can you possibly fit somebody else's life story into a half hour? 

Well you can't, but aren't we the culture of short attention spans?

A glimpse or a peek (whether it's edited to fit a certain point of view) is still a point of view I would not have seen before.

It's still a life experience I may have not be exposed to or known about.

 I really do believe we as humans have more in common with others than we realize, but maybe that's just what I like to focus on.
