I wanted to try this gourmet cupcake shop.

Blueberry cupcake with shortbread topping and strawberry cupcake with cream cheese icing. 

Little T licked off the icing, then
threw his cupcake on the back seat.

He wanted to wear my bracelets
 so I let him.

My friend laughed at her son, and said he always does that.

She said the corner of my card was nibbled by a mouse.

I'm hoping she was playing.

I'm not really fond of mice.

I love getting little pieces of art created by other people!

Below is part of a paint collaboration project. One person paints something, then mails it to the next person. Each person adds to the art, then passes it along.

Here's the painting before.

The painting after I added my take.

It's hard to see how I blended & tried to add cohesion with my colored pencils. I collaged the painted hearts in the left bottom corner. I added my ballerina umbrella drawing, in the right upper corner. The two different ribbons attached on the bottom right.

She took a trip




Terracotta, rust, sage,
olive, amber, saffron,

Layers of sediment, built up for years,

 
or crumbling, pieces, and

Standing strong. Can something be jagged and smooth, all at the same time?

See the snow? Desert and heat,
where snow never existed,
 all in the same frame

All those that pass, as the roads go

Traces of pink and lilac color,
among smooth, sandy, clay
against rough brush and rocks

All coexisiting, all in the same habitat

Its all there

Can you see it?

There's even shades of grey,
Darkness against light

Things are still growing and thriving
