the song says i'll build you a rainbow, but i'd build more than that, i'd paint whatever color you needed to express. i was taught the rainbow is a promise. that it stands for hope. i'd give it all away. whatever i thought you needed, and maybe never even asked for. i'm out there on a limb, constantly trying to reach for the fruit.
