some yellow like sunshine

Lemon, lemon bars, & lemon meringue pie.
I don't like real butter, I don't favor margarine.
This dress I confess is pretty.

She wears a yellow so pale it's golden.
With a big yellow bow, & a vermilion skirt.

ALEXANDRE HERCHCOVITCH Spring 2012 RTW

I'm sure you saw this yellow dress
I wore last summer with powder blue.
July 2011

You've probably seen me in this yellow dress too.
It seems to coordinate with our yellow garage.

August 2011
Before we moved here,
I dreamed of us living in a yellow house.
I'm sure you've heard that story too.

And how daffodils are my favorite flower,
because when I was little they were the 1st flower
I saw that reminded me of spring.

Daffodil my guy picked for me in 2009
For my childhood neighbors planted them
near our mailbox.
Or I would see them walking from school.

My art journaling drawing from June 2011

My guy had daffodils planted at our old house.

On the ground, beneath the window boxes,

the tiny windows framed with heart shutters.

My daffodil collage from April 2009.

As I'm going down memory lane. I remember last Summer wasn't the only time I wore a yellow dress.
Little me on my 3rd birthday.

Trying to blow out my candles.
The cake my mom made me.
It appears I'm near blinking,
 in this photograph.
I would think I'd be happy with all those presents.
What's up with the expression on my face?
