mosaics & me

We were driving down the road, & I saw these mosaics. We stopped, & my guy took photos.
That's my hand, trying to show you
how small the mosaic pieces are.

Yes, they were working on the mosaics.
No, I didn't throw the pieces at them, or their heads.
They were looking up at me, like they thought I would.

Road construction's like laundry,
there's always more to do,
& it never ends.

I bought this outfit at the thrift store, with my birthday money.

All these mosaics, & pictures of me are in Texas.

My guy & I.
The rest of these mosaics were when I was in NYC.

Can you believe all these cool mosaics were in the subway?

The street names were also in mosaics in the subway too.

They had a lot more mosaics than this, but you can see the lighting in NYC subways isn't exactly superb. I was also tired most of the time from all the walking.

  2. awww!!!! are amazing!!! I love them too!! I don't know if you know it, but in Seville, a very famous town here in Spain, in Plaza de España (Spanish Square)there are lots of mosaics of every "province?" of the country! it's not exactly what you show there, in fact I thin they're tiling, but it's very interesting!! This is an example: http://www.spaincenter.org/turismo-spain/andalucia/sevilla/fotos/sevilla/sevilla-plaza-espana-14.jpg

hope you like it Teddi!!! Oh, and forgive my English, I know it's not very good, that's one the reasons of the blog: learning!

  4. Mosaics and the artists that create them fascinate me! Especially when they are those intricate designs that look like paintings, with all the shading and detail. How much patience and skill it must require!

  5. you can find the polka dots tights at zara . I've seen them last month. Don't know if they are still there. but better if you check them out. Moreover you should check on tight stores like Goldenpoint etc they are such a trend.
